July 19th - A
Romanian Peace Ship docked at Vathy and gave a spectacular fireworks show
to highlight their visit to Ithaca. The ship was decked in enormous pieces
of art made by artists from all over Europe who also exhibited their works
on board. Vathy crowds flocked to see the colorful spectacle. The ship is
crewed by Romanian Sailors with Peace Activists from many European countries. |

24th - Tony Drake is on Ithaca in his ancestral village of Exoghi for
2 weeks holiday from Melbourne Australia where he was once President of,
and is now on the Committee in the Ithacan Philanthropic Society. We caught
