21st - NEWS FLASH!! The FBI on Ithaca...Not really, just Patricia and
her boyfriend Marco (Left) visiting from Bari in southern Italy, giving
the locals some eye candy with a fashion twist to look at. When everyone
else is dressed in sarongs and shorts, Marco adorned his red bandanna,
his yellow FBI and the baggiest flairs throwing up orange and red flames
from the hem to the knees.

August
22nd - Charlie was almost a local, has a house here in Vathy, work here
in Carpentry and a heavy Pop band here ready to go, but will unfortunately
be gone again in September. He's going back to the UK where his partner
and young son wait for him. All going well, he'll be playing his drums for
a couple of gigs before he leaves Ithaca.

23rd - Nicole from Brisbane seen here with Costa from Melbourne.

24th - Beautiful Ourania seen here with her Theia (aunt) Poppy, has
come from Patras with her mum and dad, Tina and Yiorgos. Time away from
the city is just what they needed to put smiles on their faces.

26th - Nana and Anastasia are here for a few days from Athens visiting
their poet friend Yiorgos Douglas. Nana spent a happy time drinking and
singing in front of Rementzo while her ithacan friends lubricated their
voices to join her in Greek song.

25th - Simone (Dr.) and Michele (Musician) are here from Bologna. Ithaca
inspires such wonderfully in depth conversations over a few beers in the
late, hot afternoon. During one of these deep sessions we discovered that
'Baou baou' means 'woof woof' in Italian. We feel enriched.

August 29th - Jerome, Karine and their children Rene, Lauraline and
Julia are here from Nice, France. Ursula (far right), Rementzos smiling
and French speaking waitress bids them adieu.

27th - Costa spends most of his Summer ferrying fruit and vegetables
from Lefkada to Ithaca and sells it all off the back of his truck. It's
a family business. His father had the route before him.
