Most people who live on Ithaki full time have a desperate need to escape their paradise at least once during the winter months. So, it's on the ferry to Patras and then on to Athens for a great long whiff of civilization with the added benefits of shopping, the cinema, theatre, music, a little pollution, a sea of colour and unknown faces, and a good look around the changing face of the city. Wow! I'm excited. |
