16th - Look what the wind picked up. Vathys' usually calm bay was churned
up into a frenzy of crashing waves. Underwater turbulence because above
sea level it was business as usual. People enjoying their summer evenings

Vathy Art Gallery
is currently holding an exhibition of 10 images of Ithaca. The results of
the Taxidi Competition in which graphic artists designed travel posters.
The best and the winning Poster are now on display. You can find the Gallery
next to the ENA Supermarket. |

18th - Funk Cover band Down Town Beat played in Kioni. It took
the audience a little time to warm up, but when they did, there was dancing
in the street by young and old. |
