Raxi Cottage is in the village of Kioni, one of the most beautiful villages on the Greek island of Ithaca in the Ionian Sea. Kioni is located 25 Km north of the main town of Vathy, which is easily connected via ferryboat to Patras, the island of Kefalonia (international airport), as well as with Lefkas and Astakos on the mainland. |

Location The cottage is located in the upper part of Kioni (Raxi), on the side of a hill with tremendous views towards the sea and the islands of Lefkas, Arkudi and Atokos. Access to the house is via a small road. Raxi Cottage and land is approximately 500 sq m with stone terraces which are surrounded by large olive and lemon trees, with the peaceful aromas of lavender and jasmine bushes scenting your days and nights on this quaint and traditional Greek island of Ithaca. Raxi Cottage enjoys privacy and peaceful surroundings, but is in walking distance to Kioni Bay, beaches, restaurants and shops. Raxi Cottage Raxi Cottage is newly renovated with elegant detail, materials, furniture and has a private garage. The large outdoor terrace overlooks the landscape with private garden corners to enjoy the meals cooked on the built-in barbecue. Water supply is provided by the city aqueduct and by a private water cistern. The house is 80 sq m. at ground level and has a mezzanine of 25 sq m. It includes a spacious double-high living room, two double bedrooms, a large bedroom in the mezzanine level, bathroom, kitchen and a laundry room. It is very well insulated and naturally ventilated, fully equipped and furnished. It accommodates up to 6 people. A daily cleaning service could be provided upon request.
