Mia moglie ed io volevamo comprare una casa in Grecia, ed in particolare ad Itaca. La scorsa primavera ho cercato tramite Google un sito che si occupasse di vendite immobiliari ad Itaca ed ho trovato che nel sito www.ithacagreece.com era in vendita una casa a Kioni. Ho scritto per prendere appuntamento e Erika mi ha risposto. Ci siamo visti a Kioni e mi ha mostrato la casa. Mi ha mostrato anche altre soluzioni, sia di case che di terreni da fabbricare. Alla fine, dopo aver visitato tre volte la casa che avevamo visto per prima nel sito, abbiamo deciso di comprare quella. Erika è stata molto gentile e competente e, con l'aiuto anche di suo marito Demetris, si è occupata anche di organizzare la firma del compromesso presso un avvocato di Vathi, con il venditore ed una interprete dal greco (il contratto è scritto in greco). Oltre che una consulente immobiliare, Erika è anche un'amica in Grecia |

My wife and I wanted to buy an house in Greece, and in particular in Ithaca. Last spring I tried through Google a web concerning “real estate sales” in Ithaca and I found that in www.ithacagreece.com there was an house for sale in Kioni. So, I wrote in order to take an appointment and Erika answered to me. We met in Kioni and she showed me the house. Erika showed me some other solutions, houses and/or lands where houses could be manufactured. At the end, after having visited three times the first house that we had identified in the web, we decided to buy that one. Erika has been much kind and competent and, supported also by her husband Demetris, took care also to organize the meeting necessary to sign the preliminary contract in a lawyer office in Vathi, with the vendor and an interpreter from the Greek (the contract is written in Greek).Besides being a real estate consultant, Erika is also a friend in Greece.

Fulfilling the dream of buying a property in Greece can often be a long journey filled with unexpected surprises, which at times are frustrating, and in some cases heart breaking. After a few failed attempts on a neighbouring island, Herman and I decided to try our luck on Ithaca. Upon meeting Erika one afternoon in winter we were struck by her warm welcome and genuine love of the island. She listened to our story and at once got to work showing us the many beautiful faces of Ithaca. Within three days we knew that we had finally washed up on the right shore and the perfect house was found. Throughout the purchase, Erika, her husband Demitri and her legal advisor were at all times honest, upfront and focused on helping to ensure that all aspects of the sale went seamlessly and smoothly. Erika's approach is one filled with passion, patience, professionalism and understanding. Her ultimate goal is to help make peoples Greek Island dream come true and the personal touch that she provides is both rare and genuine. Since buying the house, she has helped us during our move and is always there to answer the million questions that are part of setting up home and living in a new place. Our story is one that spans years and with Erika's help is one that had a happy ending. |
