Who's here 2003

Paul Newton is back this Summer with his Uki Tour Management Group. We caught him on his day off doing his weekly shopping in Stavros. Ithaca Greece advised him to stop the low-fat diet now. Eat more souvlaki Paul.

Kay and Michael sailed in on a yacht to stay in Kioni overnight, but four days later just can't tear themselves away from the village they have both fallen in love with. When Michael goes back home, he's having lunch with Maureen O'Hara. I think Ithaca Greece may see these two Jet Setters again in October.

Sheila and Roy heard that if they drank the water here on Ithaca they would be destined to return, so they're drinking their hearts out. They're staying in Kioni but get around on a Moped to take in all the sites of northern Ithaca. They love having their lunch in Frikes where a cool afternoon breeze and a few beers are just the thing during the May heat.

Mikey and Sophia have returned to Brussels after a week at Paratta. They'll be back and forth over the summer months to catch up with their friends Lila and Andreas.

Mikey regularly extends closing hours around the bars while Sophia takes a nap in the car. These two are great fun to have around. Come back soon!

Thimostenis and Ageliki are back from Patras to open up their shop in Kioni. They'll be here until October.

Where are the Ex-pats??

It's still a bit early for the South Africans and Australians to land on their mother shore, but it shouldn't be too long now before we hear their heavy accents around the villages.

Costa Kaimikamis, nephew of Nikos and Zaharate Vlassopoulos from Lahos, is coming over in June/July. He hasn't been to Ithaca since he was a boy. His relatives are all looking forward to seeing him.

Lakis Vlassopoulos is setting off on his yearly Odyssey to Exoghi around 13th June to prepare Polis Beach for his 'banana lounge' enterprise. Peter the big P is coming with him. Look out!
