Tilemahos Karavias is a Vathy local and Mayor of Ithaca.  He's a friendly faced giant, chosen by the majority of Ithacans as their council head. Tilemahos was born in Athens in 1954. His experience is in the written media, television and radio. In 1978 he Published Ithakis monthly Newspaper. From 1981-93 he worked mostly as an editor of magazines such as Sillectis and Sillectikos Kosmos and on Radio, dealing with Politics. He is Mayor of Ithaki since 1995.
