Atokos is a 2 Bedroom new accommodation in Anoghi. The village was one of the first settlements on Ithaca in the Byzantium and was once the capital of the island in the times when it gave protection from pirates.

Atokos is a 15 min drive to Stavros and Polis bay, 16 min drive to Frikes, 22 min drive to kioni and a 28 min drive to Vathi (Ithaca's capital). 2.5 km from Anogi is the historical Monastery of the Panagia (Virgin Mary) of Kathara, built around 1696 and renovated over the past few years. There are some great walking tracks around the area which afford some stunning views across the south of the island and to the sea, including a short walk to the stone monolith dating back to the ice age.
