About Us

Odysseus Restaurant and Greek Taverna is a family run business in the northern village of Frikes on the Greek Island of Ithaca, also known as Ithaki, since 1994. We are located right on the bayside Frikes with sea and windmill views. Watch the fishing boats come in with a fresh catch.

We specialize in fish dishes and our lobster is famous around the island. We get all our fish straight from the Ionian, from the catch of local fisherman. We make all our dishes with local and fresh produce, some of which is from our family gardens. We offer a select choice of Greek wines and our own local wine, made of the grapes of our harvest. Our olive oil is from our grove.

At Odysseus Restaurant we offer a variety of Greek Kitchen dishes, mixed with some of our own creations, always maintaining the traditional factor and flavours of our island. We also offer a select choice of vegetarian dishes and if you let us know of any allergies, can direct you in what best to order. Our appetisers and desserts are all home made with the traditional ingredients of the island.
