Another warm night outside, made the air-conditioned Cultural Centre just the place to cool down while being entertained simultaneously. While everywhere else on the island, the World Cup took precedence, here, the tone was mellow and traditional and made a welcome change from the cheering and screams of disappointment and joy when someones' favorite team lost or won.

It's a shame this Free Performance wasn't better advertised. It was a great way to spend the evening, and with tradition always taking a back step, a good opportunity to remember the great musical passion of Greece.
