What's New On Ithaca Greece

Friday 20th
Dexa Beach is one of the southern Ithaca favourites with its shady olive trees and the mythology of Odysseas in the water.
Sunday 22nd - The heat continues and thus so does Summer. On land you can see the population beginning to lessen, although on sea, the yachts are still plenty.
Above - Dona Lefki has an excellent reputation for dining out in Lefki. The restaurant has brought life into this once sleepy village.
Below - Panaghiotis Margaris concert in Vathy last night. An intimate, but enjoyable affair.
Thursday 26th - Some bad weather expected on Ithaca today, as with the Ionian, while in the east of the country another very high temperature warning is in effect.
Sunday 29th - It's hard to believe that a couple of days ago we had rain in the middle of Summer, but why not. Everything about this year is strange. We are left with some high humidity.
Tuesday 31st - We say goodbye to another August, thankfully busy to keep Ithaki going after a very difficult 1.5 years. Below - Exoghi.

Friday 20th
With governments telling us that the 4th wave of C starts in the first week of September, everyone's making hay while the sun shines.
Sunday 22nd - Below - Sortiros church at the heart of North Ithacas center, Stavros.

Thursday 26th - Some rainy weather expected today.
Sunday 29th - Things are starting to slow down...well not that much.
Tuesday 31st - Still alot of yachts sailing into Ithaki's harbours. It may be a good September.
