What's New On Ithaca Greece

Sunday 19th
What a great change to finally have some sunny weather again after such a long time of rain, storm and more rain. It's chilly, but that's how it should be in winter, but with the sun shining and the skies blue, life feels pretty amazing here on our little paradise isle of Ithaca. Below - Ithaca's northern center of Stavros. Often a little neglected during the summer season, but there's so much of the heart of the island here, it's worth taking a long peak to see just how wonderful this village is.

Wednesday 22nd - Bluer skies, but boy it's chilly now. Looking down to Polis Bay and across to Kefalonia from the small hutch of Kalyvia, just outside of Stavros, north Ithaca's hub.

Wednesday 29th - Hope everyone had a enjoyable Christmas and holiday despite the uncertainty of these times. One thing that has rarely changed is the beauty of our little island in the Ionian. Ithaca is still a paradise where many have been lost, it remains a constant in our lives. Below - Stavros in the north of the island.

Friday 31st - The end of another year, a difficult and sometimes fearful year, but things are looking up for 2022 in many countries around the world and soon we hope too, for Greece. Wishing everyone a very Happy New Year!!

Winter on Ithaca Greece
Sunday 19th
Now the rains have stoppped (for the time being) it's great weather to do some walking around the island.
Wednesday 22nd - In the 80's we would have called this little lemon, Chernobyllied.

Wednesday 29th - So near to the end of another year of uncertainty. Let's hope we can HAVE hope for 2022.
