Palio Faliro sunset is spectacular even through the concrete frame, its' long boulevard along the sea is awesome for that evening walk and locals are friendly and helpful, but there is one minus to this sea side suburb of Athens. Nearly everyone has a dog and they all shit in the streets and on the footpaths. Someone needs to introduce the Palio Faliro community to pooper scoopers I think. |

Not everyone is a stranger in the big city. At the Gallery Café in Monastiraki we bump into Kate (Greek Islands Rep on Ithaki and soon to be local resident of the island) having a coffee with friend Sophia from Café Mentor in Kioni currently studying in Athens. |
