August 4th - Below - Famous Patras babysitter and violinist, Vagelio and her husband Andreas are here to relax, and it seems to be working. They look very relaxed already and it's only their first night. They're here to visit their very pregnant daughter Poppy and all the other relatives scattered around the island.

Above - Natasha has decided to move to Athens after being raised in South Africa and living in the US, but not before she spends the summer on ithaca working at Bemenis.

Left - This is Charlotte (the harlot). The nickname was given to her by the friends with whom she shares her Ithaki holiday. This pretty Brit, music Biz make-up artist, has wasted no time acquiring the Mediterranean tan all her friends back in the UK will envy. Another Vodka lime...or was that a Gin and tonic? Then it's off to bed. The Stavros Panighiri is on tomorrow night and Charlotte will need all her strength for that 2 day party.

Above - Georgiana (The Piranha) is another Perth( ian ) living and working in Telecommunications in the UK and holidaying on Ithaki. Only 3 days before it's back to work so she's making the most of her time getting around the island, swimming, drinking and generally enjoying the break. Tonight it's dinner at the beach, some dessert and then off to write some postcards, maybe even read that book she came with.

Right - Zoe and Aki are here from Athens with their daughter Natasia who works at Bemenis and Stephen, currently working at Rementzo. This South African / Greek family made the move to Greece full time and are enjoying the change.

August 5th -Below - What's going on?? One Greek personality after another seems to be coming to Ithaki. Elena Tatrava, judge and beauty from the Mega Tv show 'Super Idol' who holds back no punches in her criticism of young talent, is in Vathy holidaying with some friends. With that smile, Elena seems to get away with the brutally honest style in which she judges, to still be loved by her audience. We caught up with Elena and friends at the Stavros Panighiri. By the way, none other than Ithakis own Paparazzi, Stavros Delas (aka Steve Doorman), was also sitting at their table.

Left - Elena and her friends insisted this good looking guy warrants a photo on his own The word 'Star' kept coming up. I think his name is Niko. After some verbal wrestling I did finally get to shoot him.

August 6th - Left - Yiorgos Levendis. If you were one of the thousands addicted to Fame Story, this mans' face will be very well known to you. I ambushed him in Stavros and he was nice enough to let me take his pic. Seems Peter the Big P led him astray in his younger days, so we have something in common. Yiorgos has a house at Ag. Yiannis where he spends much time during his Summer vacation. This Australian / Greek now lives in Greece full time. What a great way to get to Ithaki whenever he wants.

August 6th - Above - Casey and her father Sam have been here for awhile, but soon it will be back to Pyrgos where Sams' roots stem from. Casey has temporarily made a move there while she teaches English, but there's always time to visit her mothers' roots here on Ithaki. A place well visited in the family.

Above - Dionisis is back and attracting all the girls and boys on the island. "Who me?:

Above - Nikos is back in Lahos staying at his family home as he does each Summer.

Kaliopi hasn't been to Ithaki in a few years. She lives in Athens, works in Athens, but always dreams of coming back to where she grew up. Her family house is in Lahos where she is currently trying to settle in for her vacation, coping with a big clean up and no electricity after years of absence. She doesn't look like she cares too much.
