To many visitors to Ithaki, Raxi is just a little village passed through on the way to Kioni, but for those fortunate enough to have stayed in the area, it's one of the loveliest spots on the northern island. There are a choice of beaches below with clear blue waters and lush slopes and the views are absolutely inspiring. On a clear day you can see for miles, islands floating to and on the horizon. Raxis' lanes and paths take you back into the past and Kioni, where modern day Ithaca awaits, is only minutes away. |
